Overview
This system will allow you to get AI-generated tasks after a phone call is completed, based on the contents of that phone call.
Especially helpful if you (or your clients) have trouble with forgetting to follow up with leads.

Process
This workflow is honestly pretty simple, but it did take me a while to create. That’s because there are three separate steps.
Each step uses two ChatGPT prompts to generate the most accurate responses possible, and then we have an “If/Else” block after that step to determine which action to take next.
- After generating the transcript, feed it to ChatGPT and see if it thinks we should generate a task in this scenario
- If not, we can just end the workflow
- If so, proceed
- Now that we know we want a task, we need to ask ChatGPT to determine when the task should be due
- We use a “Custom Code” block to ensure that ChatGPT formatted the date properly to create a task
- If ChatGPT gave us an improperly formatted date, then we’ll start back from the top of step #2 and reattempt the date generation
- Now that we have a date, the last generation we need is the task contents
- We get ChatGPT to output a ‘title’ and ‘body’ value for the note
- We use a “Custom Code” block to ensure that ChatGPT formatted the text properly
- If ChatGPT gave us improperly formatted text, then we’ll start back from the top of step #3 and reattempt the text generation
- Finally, we can create the task, which must be assigned to a user
- If the phone call was answered by a specific user, then we can assign the task to them
- If the contact is assigned to a user alreayd, then we can assign the task to them
- If the contact has no assigned user, we can assign them to a default user
