Overview
I recommend that you follow this guide when building out more complex workflows.
It will allow you to test everything on a single sub-account, and then duplicate that workflow and keep it in sync across multiple sub-accounts once it’s ready to be published.
The Process
Here’s a simple guide on how to set this up for yourself:
- Create a “main” snapshot sub-account that you want to act as a template for all the other client sub-accounts
- Build the workflow or duplicate it into that snapshot sub-account
- Turn that sub-account into a snapshot from the agency menu
- Load that template snapshot into individual sub-accounts if they’re not already linked to it
- Finally, from the agency snapshots menu, push the updated snapshot to all of the linked sub-accounts and voilà.
You can also use {{ custom.values }} in your workflow steps so that if you need to change any of the wording in a single sub-account, it doesn’t get messed up again when you go to push a new update.
