Thanks for installing!

Getting Started

Since you’ve just installed the app, your backfill process will already be running.

By my estimates, this should take about 30 minutes per 1,000 contacts that are in your location.

Here are some things you may want to do after installing:

  • ¶ Embed the map on your locations’ sidebar
  • ¶ Embed the map in your locations’ dashboard
  • ¶ Learn about filtering by pipeline and stage
  • ¶ Familiarize yourself with the legend colors

Backfill Delay

Once you install the app, your data will begin filling in.

This process can take a while, as it needs to iterate through every single contact within each location, and populate the data.

I’ve seen this process take about 30 minutes on a location with 1,000 contacts, so just prepare to wait the respective amount of time for all of your contacts to appear on the map.

After the backfill is complete, all other updates should be processed in real-time.

Embed on Sidebar

You can easily embed the map to be shown on the sidebar in your location like the image below.

image

To do this, you’ll need access as the agency owner to do the following:

  1. Switch to Agency View if you haven’t already
  2. Head to Settings in the bottom left
  3. Click on Custom Menu Links in the left-side menu
  4. Click on the blue Create New button at the top right
  5. Choose an icon and title for the link
  6. Paste the following into the URL field
  7. https://use.streamlined.so/interfaces/public/mapper/{{location.id}}
  8. Leave When Clicked as default
  9. image
  10. Select only “Sub-Account’s sidebar” as the Sidebar Preference
  11. image
  12. Select which accounts you’d like to have the link (maybe the ones where you installed the app?)
  13. Select the role(s) you want to be able to view the sidebar item
  14. Finally, hit Save

Embed on Dashboard

You can also embed the map as a widget on one of your dashboards as shown in the image below.

To do this, it’s actually very simple.

If you’d like for all of your locations to share this map on a custom dashboard, you can follow the instructions in How to duplicate a workflow to all sub-accounts, but add the dashboard to the snapshot instead of a workflow.

Here are the instructions for setting it up:

  1. Head to the Dashboard section on the sidebar from within a location
  2. Click on the pencil icon in the top right to edit the dashboard
  3. Click on the blue Add Widget button at the top right
  4. Select Elements from the Widgets, Elements, and Themes options
  5. Select the Embed option from the list of elements
  6. Add a title, and note you can hide this title under Advanced Settings
  7. Leave the Type as URL, and paste this into the URL field:
  8. https://use.streamlined.so/interfaces/public/mapper/{{location.id}}
  9. Once you press save, your dashboard should look something like this:
  10. image
  11. You may want to resize the new element so that it’s more usable, like in the image above
  12. Now you can hit the Save Changes button at the top to close the editor, and the map will be interactive

Filter by Pipeline & Stage

This map allows you to filter contacts by their opportunity pipeline (and stage).

At the top left you can “Select a pipeline” which will filter all of the contacts on the map to only those with an opportunity in the pipeline you selected.

After you’ve selected a pipeline, you can also “Select a stage” which will filter all of the contacts on the map to only those with an opportunity in the stage you selected.

The “x” icon to the right of these dropdowns will appear after you’ve made a selection, and clears the filters.

On mobile (or any smaller viewport), you’ll need to scroll across the top to reveal the added elements.

Legend Color Details

🟢

Any marked "Won"

Any contacts marked with a green dot on the map have at least one opportunity that is marked as “Won” in its pipeline.

These are essentially your customers.

🔵

Open opportunities

Contacts marked with a blue dot on the map have no opportunities marked as “Won”, but some are marked as open.

These are essentially your open deals.

🔴

All marked "Lost"

Pretty self explanatory here.

If a contact on your map is marked with a red dot, all of their opportunities are marked as “Lost”

⚪

No opportunities

For contacts marked with a grey dot, they have either no opportunities, or they’re all marked as abandoned.

Frequent Questions

‣

Do you offer custom development work?

Yes and no. If you’d like to get in touch with me and talk about a project, I’d love to help and give you some pointers! But in general, I don’t do any bespoke work.

The only cases where I do work for someone else are when I see a need for a marketplace app.

So if your product seems like it would have a wider appeal than just yourself, I might build it for the marketplace, and you can help to guide the direction of the product!

‣

Should I install your app at the agency level or location level?

For the most part, all of my apps have two versions.

One of these is installed at the agency level, and it allows you to install multiple locations at a time.

One benefit of this is that when you choose to install an app on all of your locations, you’ll be offered the option to “Enable Automatic Future Installation.”

With this enabled, any time you create a new sub-account the app will be automatically installed. Very useful if your snapshot includes any triggers or actions from the app.

It’s worth noting though, that you can only install apps on the $297/month or $497/month plans.

If you’re on the $97/month plan, then you’re only able to install apps on a single location at a time.

This means payment will be charged to the card listed on that sub-account, and you won’t be able to duplicate workflow functionality to other sub-accounts without purchasing the app there as well.

‣

What’s your support like?

If you have a question, concern, or comment, I’m right here.

You can give me a call and get right on the phone with the person who built the app, and actually knows how it works.

Just know that when calling before 8 AM pacific, I’m usually still asleep so I might miss it!

‣

How do I install your app?

To install any of the apps, there’s a form that will help you get to the right page, since that’s the only way to install a private app.

Find the app that you want to install, and click the link for a tally.so form which will redirect you to the right app marketplace page depending on the install type (agency/sub-account), and from there you can hit “Install” and select your plan.

For newer apps, it’s helpful to not have this long wait step so I can improve the app as it finds more use cases.

‣

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes, most apps offer a free trial of at least 7 days

‣

Can I request a feature or product?

Absolutely! My ears are open for new product and feature ideas!

If you have one you’d like to discuss, please use the contact info below to reach out or set up a quick meeting!

‣

Are there any usage limits on your apps?

For the most part, no.

I try not to design apps that have a strict usage limit or pricing tiers since I think it makes the buying process overly complicated, and degrades the user experience.

Instead, my apps are either a flat monthly fee, or rely on a third-party pay-as-you-go service such as Twilio or OpenAI (ChatGPT).

‣

Can I use your app on multiple accounts?

Yes, for apps installed at the agency level, you can install the same app across multiple sub-accounts.

‣

How do I uninstall the app?

To uninstall any app on the marketplace, you can select “Marketplace” from the left sidebar, then “Installed Apps” at the top of the screen.

If you don’t see the app you intend to uninstall, make sure you’re at the agency level if it’s installed there, or in the specific location where the app is installed.

Once you click on the app, at the top right of the screen you should see a button that says “Uninstall”

Uninstalling the app should cancel your paid subscription if there is one.
